Registration opens on Monday, April 13 at 11:00 AM, marking the start of an event that promises to combine sport, nature, and a unique two-wheeled experience in the heart of La Rioja.
The La Rioja Gravel Ride will run alongside Stage 2 of the La Rioja Bike Race, with both events starting from the iconic Palacio de Deportes de La Rioja—a central hub designed to provide maximum comfort for riders and spectators alike.
The 2026 edition features a route built to showcase gravel riding at its best, covering 53 kilometers with just over 500 meters of elevation gain.
The start and finish line are shared with Stage 2 of the La Rioja Bike Race. After leaving Logroño along the same opening 8 kilometers as Stage 2, the route branches off towards Pico del Águila before joining the Roman road in the Iregua Valley, leading riders to Islallana along a course that’s perfect for enjoying gravel riding. After the feed zone, the route heads toward Entrena, where riders will tackle a series of short climbs before returning to Logroño, following the same final kilometers as Stage 2. All of this comes together in a course designed to be enjoyable and accessible, no matter your level of experience in gravel riding.
Riders will have access to two feed zones—one on course and one at the finish—ensuring they stay fueled throughout the ride. The course blends fast gravel tracks, rural paths, and the distinctive landscapes of La Rioja, making it ideal both for newcomers to the discipline and experienced riders looking for a rewarding day out.
All rider services will be centralized at the Palacio de Deportes de La Rioja, which will serve as the event’s main hub.
