This Thursday hundreds of participants in La Rioja Bike Race presented by Shimano picked up their race numbers in La Rioja’s Palacio de los Deportes and then proceeded to cruise through the various tents of the expo on display in the Paddock. Changes in weather didn’t prevent the ambiance from coming alive with energy and expectation, since tomorrow, Friday, at 10:00 in the morning, the first stage of the race’s fourth edition will begin.

In the Paddock area where race numbers were handed over, familiar faces of some mountain bikers currently in top form passed by. Carlos Coloma, ambassador for the event, José Antonio Hermida, Milton Ramos, Clàudia Galicia and Sandra Santanyes — among others — didn’t want to miss out on the day before the start of the longest and hardest La Rioja Bike Race presented by Shimano to date. Officials also came out to support all the participants before tomorrow’s start.
